Howzat? Here are our FAQs
If you can't find an answer to your question just contact us...
Do I need to be any good at cricket?
Not at all. Beardy Cricket is designed for adults of all abilities - whether you’ve never played, haven’t picked up a bat since school, or just fancy giving it a go.
What do I need to bring?
Just comfortable clothes, trainers, and maybe a drink. We provide bats, balls, stumps, and good vibes.
What happens if it rains?
We’ll make a weather call by midday on the day of the session. If it’s a washout, we’ll give you credit for another session - simple as that.
Is it competitive?
Not really. We keep score, but it’s all about fun, laughs, and giving everyone a go. No pressure and no serious sledging.
Is it just for men with beards?
Nope. Everyone’s welcome. The name’s a nod to cricket’s old-school image — but Beardy Cricket is open to any adult who wants to join in.
How much does it cost to take part?
We'll be running a pilot session for free to test the idea out and we'd love to hear your feedback on how you found it. After that we'll charge a small price to cover pitch hire, insurance and equipment.
