Howzat? Here are our FAQs

If you can't find an answer to your question just contact us...

Do I need to be any good at cricket?

Not at all. Beardy Cricket is designed for adults of all abilities - whether you’ve never played, haven’t picked up a bat since school, or just fancy giving it a go.

What do I need to bring?

Just comfortable clothes, trainers, and maybe a drink. We provide bats, balls, stumps, and good vibes.

What happens if it rains?

We’ll try and play on as much as possible but safety is the most important thing. If we feel we need to postpone we'll give you a refund for that session. Our indoor matches are of course not impacted!

Is it competitive?

Not really. We keep score, but it’s all about fun, laughs, and giving everyone a go. No pressure and no serious sledging.

Is it just for men with beards?

Nope. Everyone’s welcome. The name’s a nod to cricket’s old-school image — but Beardy Cricket is open to any adult who wants to join in.

How much does it cost to take part?

We try and keep the cost down but charge a small price to cover pitch hire, insurance and equipment.

I love the idea of Beardy Cricket but I don't live near by
